The DJI Avata 2 Fly More Combo (3 Batteries) continues to give beginner and experienced pilots an easy way to start FPV flying and creating immersive content. This compact drone is designed to fly fast at low altitudes and through tight spaces. This type of movement is further enhanced with the new addition of one-button acrobatic maneuvers. As you fly, the gimbal can capture sharp 12MP still images and colorful 4K HDR video from a normal to ultrawide 155° field of view. To do this safely, DJI equipped Avata 2 with integrated propeller guards and a new binocular fish-eye visual positioning system.
Professional Imaging
With a 1/1.3″ image sensor, Avata 2 offers effective low-light performance, up to 12MP still image capture, and 4K HDR resolution video. Choose between three different fields of view to customize your project and flight style: normal angle, wide angle, and 155° ultrawide angle. Professionals will enjoy the 10-bit D-Log M support, which retains more highlights and details to provide more flexibility when it comes to editing and colorization.
Stabilized Footage
Stable footage from a high-speed FPV drone like the Avata 2 is almost impossible to achieve, which is why DJI included the RockSteady and HorizonSteady features. RockSteady is designed for pure stabilization to compensate for high speeds and windy conditions. HorizonSteady is a more specific stabilization as it locks onto the horizon during horizontal rotations of up to 360°.
O4 Long-Range Transmission
Take control of your drone and view video feeds from afar with this second-generation Avata. Using DJI’s O4 transmission system, Avata 2 can transmit signals from up to 8.1 miles away. Video feeds enjoy resolutions of up to 1080p/100, along with bitrates of up to 60 Mb/s and response times as low as 24 ms. To achieve such a range, the Avata 2 has been upgraded with a 2T4R (2-transmitter/4-receiver) configuration that employs a 4 antenna array and strong anti-interference performance.
Safer Flying
Upgrading from Avata’s single downward sensor, Avata 2 now has a binocular fish-eye sensor for downward and aft visual positioning. Additional safety features include integrated propeller guards and an automatic return-to-home feature triggered by signal loss or low battery.
One-Button Acrobatics
Bring creativity to your aerial footage by using Avata 2’s one-button acrobatics feature to easily perform complex attractions.
One-Button Flip: Perform a 360° forward or backward spin
One-Button Roll: Perform a 360° turn to the left or right
One-Button Drift: Perform a 180° lateral drift through an object at high speed, then quickly reverse for an exciting effect.
Works with LightCut
Officially supported by DJI for use with Avata 2, the LightCut app for iOS and Android devices offers convenient one-tap VFX without the need to download footage. The AI-based technology analyzes the flight trajectory in the video and lets you use the Sky VFX feature to add overlays, over-the-air text animations and more. Also, the One-Tap Edit feature uses AI recognition of video types and themes to let you intelligently add sound effects, perform color restoration and more, giving you a professionally polished final cut for faster online sharing.
Turtle Mode
If Avata 2 accidentally flips over, Turtle Mode can be used to automatically flip it back to the take-off position to quickly return it to the air.
